Job Vacancy for a Plant Mechanic.

We’re looking for a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our team!

If you have experience with machinery and plant, enjoy and take pride in problem solving and keeping equipment running smoothly, we would love to hear from you.

We offer training to enhance your skills where needed.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Inspecting and repairing our fleet of Diggers, Dumpers, Telehandlers, Rollers and powered access machinery, and hydraulic, electrical systems and engines
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
  • Ensuring all machinery meets safety and performance standards
  • Working as part of a team to keep the operations running efficiently

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a plant mechanic or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Delivery Driver (5.5 Tonne Vehicle & Trailer) – Plant Hire Equipment

We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our friendly team. The role involves delivering plant hire equipment using a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer, ensuring timely and safe transport to and from customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 5.5 tonne vehicle and trailer, deliver and collect plant hire equipment and smaller items.
  • Carry out checks to ensure equipment is secure and roadworthy.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to customers.
  • Maintain delivery documentation and logs accurately.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence – Category C1E.
  • Experience driving 5.5T vehicles with trailers.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Desirable

  • Experience operating or delivering plant machinery (e.g. diggers, dumpers).
  • Familiarity with plant hire or construction equipment.
  • A valid Category C (class 2) licence to drive a 26-tonne lorry.
  • Experience driving large vehicles.
